Let’s work together

How I Work

Parenting a differently wired child often means navigating moments that feel confusing, intense, or overwhelming. In our sessions, we slow down, look closely, and find practical ways forward—together.

Our work is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in real life.

Understand the Nervous System

We begin by making sense of behavior through the lens of stress, sensory needs, and nervous system regulation. When you understand what’s happening underneath the surface, it becomes easier to respond with clarity instead of urgency.

Notice Patterns

Together we decode tricky moments: what happened before, during, and after?
We look for patterns across home, school, social situations, routines, and transitions so challenges feel more predictable—and more manageable.

Build Regulation and Connection

You’ll learn concrete tools to support your own nervous system so you can stay more grounded during meltdowns, conflicts, and hard days.
A calm adult nervous system is one of the most powerful supports a child can have.

Turn Insight Into Action

We translate insight into realistic, practical steps. This might include:

  • Adjusting routines at home

  • Preparing for conversations with teachers or caregivers

  • Thinking through school decisions

  • Identifying accommodations that support your child quietly and effectively

The goal isn’t perfection—it’s progress and steadiness over time.
